Year 6. The big one.
SATs, leavers’ assemblies, growing independence and those “we did it” moments in July.
We’re working with a welcoming Shropshire Primary school looking for a confident Year 6 teacher who knows how to balance high expectations with genuine care.
What’s on offer:
• A settled, well-behaved class
• Supportive SLT
• Shared planning within the year group
• Strong focus on progress without unnecessary pressure
We’re looking for someone who:
• Holds UK QTS
• Has KS2 experience, ideally upper KS2
• Can prepare pupils for SATs while keeping learning engaging
• Builds positive relationships quickly
If you’re an experienced teacher ready for a fresh start, or confident in upper KS2 and ready to step up, this could be a great fit.
