EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR WINNER 2022, 2023 & 2024 UK NO.1 THREE TIME WINNER Job Title: Compliance Officer Workforce & Regulatory Compliance Location: Northern Ireland Reports to: Training & Compliance Manager Salary: £25000-£26500 Job Purpose The Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting the organisation in maintaining full compliance with regulatory, statutory, and organisational requirements within domiciliary care services in Northern Ireland. The role will focus primarily on workforce compliance, ensuring that all staff records, training, recruitment documentation, and monitoring processes meet RQIA standards, legislative requirements, and internal policies. The post holder will monitor staff compliance, maintain accurate workforce records, support audit processes, and ensure the organisation meets regulatory requirements relating to the recruitment, training, and governance of the workforce. About The Role Key Responsibilities Workforce Compliance Management Monitor and maintain compliance of all staff files in accordance with RQIA requirements and domiciliary care regulations in Northern Ireland. Ensure recruitment documentation is complete and compliant including: AccessNI checks References Right to work documentation Qualifications verification Employment history Maintain accurate and up-to-date workforce compliance records. Maintain systems for monitoring staff information including training, qualifications, and mandatory compliance requirements. Track expiry dates and renewal requirements for compliance documentation such as: AccessNI checks Mandatory training NISCC registration Produce compliance reports and workforce monitoring data for management. Conduct regular internal audits of staff files and workforce compliance records. Identify gaps or areas of non-compliance and support managers in implementing corrective actions. Assist in preparing for RQIA inspections and regulatory reviews. Maintain workforce compliance databases and information systems. Provide regular reports to management on: Staff compliance levels Training completion rates Workforce documentation compliance Person Specification Essential Criteria GCSE in English & Maths or equivalent at Grade C or above Experience maintaining staff records, compliance documentation, or regulatory reporting. Experience conducting audits or monitoring compliance processes. Understanding of recruitment compliance Strong organisational and administrative skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify compliance risks. Effective communication skills when working with managers and staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance monitoring systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Desirable Level 3 qualification or higher in Business Administration, Compliance, or related field, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of domiciliary care workforce requirements in Northern Ireland.
