About the role
This position will provide sales and technical support to the Global Account Managers in the Global Projects & Accounts (GPA) team, producing proposals for fire and gas detection systems worldwide. The main responsibility will be to develop proposals for global projects linked to end users and EPCs.
The role will also contribute to developing processes for more effective proposal operations in the GPA team and support sales efforts in securing new orders. Occasionally, global support to other regions may be required.
The role involves close cooperation with the Director, Account Managers, and other global bid resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review RFQ and enquiry documentation in detail.
* Prepare and write technical and commercial proposals in response to customer enquiries.
* Design and specify technical solutions for fire and gas systems meeting customer requirements.
* Coordinate with internal and external support for proposal inputs.
* Work with sales, legal, and contracts teams to ensure coherent proposals and risk understanding.
* Assist Account Managers and customers with technical queries.
* Process proposal requests in coordination with Account Managers.
* Improve proposal processes for efficiency.
* Participate in clarifications and bid meetings as needed.
* Maintain proposal activities in Salesforce.
* Provide documentation to customers for non-project PO requests.
* Participate in handover from Sales to Project upon receiving POs.
* Support pre-sales activities for customers and sales teams.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical certification; experience can substitute for formal education.
* At least two years’ experience in similar roles.
* Experience in designing technical specifications and proposals.
* Experience with global EPC bidding processes is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
* Effective communication skills in English.
* Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
* Interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and clients.
* Ability to travel as needed.
