SEN Teaching Assistant
Position Overview
We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants, Support Workers, Personal Care Assistants, and Mentors specializing in Autism, Mental Health, and Behavioural Support. The role is based in Bedworth.
Details
* Location: Bedworth
* Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (day-to-day, short & long term)
* Start Date: June and September 2025
* Salary: GBP90 - GBP100 per day, depending on experience
Role Description
* Providing 1:1 behaviour support to pupils with challenging behaviour and SEN needs, including SLD and PMLD.
* Implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviour proactively and engagingly.
* Acting as a positive role model and offering nurture support.
* Supporting numeracy and literacy development outside the classroom.
* De-escalating volatile situations effectively.
* Supporting children aged 5 to 11 years old across primary school.
* Providing personal care as required.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have experience working with challenging behaviour in educational or support settings. Candidates with personal experience in mental health, SLD, PMLD, and Autism are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
* Enhanced DBS check (Child and Adult) on the update service; assistance available if needed.
* Two references to verify your suitability.
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
