Pivotal new appointment in a well-known Banking Group's London Team for an experienced HR professional. The company is a diversified banking organization with a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region and a credible track record of success. The bank is now expanding into the UK and European markets with a clear growth strategy.
Mandarin speaking Senior HR - Responsibilities:
1. Implement and maintain policies and procedures reflecting best practices, compliant with employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
2. Support the Head of Administration and HR, and key stakeholders, ensuring understanding of policies and procedures.
3. Assist in recruitment and candidate selection to attract high-caliber candidates, including liaising with agencies and candidates.
4. Develop and maintain an induction programme for new hires.
5. Develop initiatives to promote employee engagement, corporate culture, performance management, and communication; manage conflict, discipline, and grievances.
6. Create an annual learning and development plan aligned with business objectives.
7. Assist in managing remuneration and benefits to attract and retain staff.
8. Manage relationships with benefits suppliers.
9. Manage employee relations.
10. Ensure efficient payroll processing compliant with legislation and HMRC regulations.
11. Provide centralized internal administration services and coordinate external relations.
12. Manage relationships with facilities management providers to meet performance standards.
Mandarin speaking Senior HR - Skills Needed:
1. Experience developing and implementing people strategies in multicultural environments.
2. Strong understanding of employment law and comprehensive people management skills, including recruitment, performance management, learning, reward, employee engagement, and payroll.
3. Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
4. Extensive HR experience, preferably in banking or financial institutions.
5. CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
6. Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment.
7. Knowledge of SMFs and relevant training preferred.
8. Strong employment law knowledge or experience in employee relationship management.
