SEN Tutor JOB DUTIES: Provide individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create and implement tailored learning plans based on students' needs Deliver engaging lessons to support students' academic and personal development Assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs Knowledge of SEN codes of practise and regulations EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Strong understanding of different learning styles and SEN support strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet individual student needs PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience in using assistive technology to support students with SEN WORKING CONDITIONS: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work in a classroom setting or one-on-one with students Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
