Sr Sales Representative
This position is located in the North-West of the United Kingdom (approximately one hour from Liverpool). The role offers hybrid work flexibility, with a primary focus on working on-site.
In this role you will be responsible for
* Managing accounts in the North West of England and surrounding areas, including developing and retaining long‑term customer relationships.
* Supporting the preparation of sales plans and demand forecasts.
* Identifying new business opportunities and gathering market intelligence.
* Managing and developing your sales territory, including prospecting and relationship building.
* Visiting existing and new customers, assessing customer needs, improving brand and product awareness, and recommending solutions.
* Responding promptly and accurately to customer inquiries; negotiating and concluding sales; referring leads, feedback, and competitor information.
* Defining customer needs through technical trials and tests at customer sites.
* Coordinating technical support, including follow‑up on samples, sending technical documentation, analyzing customer ordering patterns, and providing onsite assistance with equipment and troubleshooting.
* Attending and contributing to sales meetings, preparing monthly highlights.
What You’ll Bring To The Team
* Education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or another relevant field, such as Accounts Management.
* Technical and commercial experience in tissue or paper manufacturing combined with strong account management skills.
* A customer‑centric approach and ability to develop our customer base.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Proactive, flexible, and able to work effectively under pressure.
* Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), ERP (SAP), and sales systems.
* Experience in the paper manufacturing sector or sales experience in the paper‑chemical sector would be an asset.

* The starting base salary range for this role is £50,000‑£57,750 per year. Salary ranges may vary depending on location and local market conditions. The actual starting salary will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, skills and competencies, qualifications, and wider business and organisational needs.
