Part of the G’s Group, East Coast Growers based in Norfolk, is seeking an experienced Site Technical Manager to lead our technical, quality, and food safety function. This pivotal role will drive compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across our farming operations, strengthening G’s reputation for technical leadership in the industry. The Role You’ll take ownership of site technical and quality performance, ensuring all products consistently meet legal, customer, and internal standards. You’ll provide strategic guidance, lead a high-performing team, and champion a positive food safety and quality culture across the business. Key Responsibilities Lead site technical, quality, and compliance standards, aligning with strategic business goals Own and suggest ideas to continuously improve the Quality Management System, ensuring year-on-year performance improvements Ensure full compliance with food safety legislation, customer requirements, and GMP/BRC standards Manage HACCP systems, audits, and third-party compliance processes Lead, develop, and mentor the QA team to deliver operational excellence Oversee traceability systems, testing programmes, and compliance data management Analyse customer KPI data to identify trends and drive improvement initiatives Support the development, implementation, and review of product specifications Provide expert advice to management on technical, compliance, and quality matters About You Extensive knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and quality management systems Proven experience managing audits and ensuring compliance with customer standards Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams across operations Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach Passionate about quality, food safety, and building a positive, compliant culture Flexible Working We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements, including school-hours or reduced hours.
