Our ambitious and innovative projects (all 5000+ of them) help to combat challenges related to waste and water infrastructure, flooding, and water quality. Be part of something that benefits our communities, health outcomes, and the environment. It could be the biggest challenge of your career.
If you want to do more because you care, we’d love to talk to you. There really is something for everyone here.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Are you a Junior/Assistant Project Manager or a Project Engineer with a strong, technical background, looking for a new and exciting challenge to step into?
Within our Capital Design and Delivery department, we are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join the Water Treatment Delivery Team at our Shelton (Shrewsbury) office.
As our Assistant Project Manager, you’ll be accountable for delivering key project KPIs across a portfolio of large capital engineering and construction projects related to water treatment.
You will undertake financial management of projects, manage risks, and liaise with stakeholders at all levels. Initially, you'll focus on less complex and low-risk projects, with support to grow and take on more responsibilities.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Ideally, you are qualified in a technical engineering or construction-related discipline, with contractual management experience. Exposure to NEC project management framework would be an asset.
Experience in utilities and/or infrastructure sectors is preferred. You should have strong relationship-building skills, the ability to innovate, and anticipate challenges as they arise.
You’ll hold a Full UK driving licence due to the remote location of some operational sites.
The right skills and experience are important, but so are character, positivity, and a caring attitude. We welcome diverse backgrounds and individuals who want to make a difference.
