Prison and Custody Service Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Manager to join the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership (AHSCP) in the role of Prison and Custody Service Manager working alongside the Prison and Custody teams. The Prison and Custody Services are hosted within the North Partnership Location of Aberdeenshire.
Hours of work will be 37 hours or 36.25 hours per week (dependant on NHS or Council Terms and Conditions) over 5 days, Monday to Friday.
The post holder will have an understanding of people within the Justice System and have the ability to work collaboratively to provide strategic and operational leadership and support for the delivery of the Health Services within these complex settings by ensuring that robust systems, policies, procedures, professional guidance, standards, training and education strategies are in place.
The successful candidate will have the ability to ensure that they can demonstrate skills in translating information within national and local policy drivers ensuring delivery of safe, high quality and sustainable services. The post holder must be able to demonstrate previous budget management across multiple services.
The Service Manager will work collaboratively with key stakeholders, taking responsibility for the effective delivery of health services within both the Prison and Custody settings, navigating the complex landscape that this brings. This will include working collaboratively with Scottish Prison Service and Police Scotland among other agencies across the service locations in Grampian, including HMP YOI Grampian and Kittybrewster, Fraserburgh and Elgin Custody suites.
Applicants will be able to evidence extensive management and leadership of staff with particular focus around the application of NHS policy and procedures. Educated to degree level, with experience working recently in a management and leadership role and have the ability to work autonomously.
