RMS are excited to be recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support manufacturing operations with our client based in Peterlee. This is an on-going temporary position and would be working Monday to Friday (7AM-3:10PM). Please note: There may be requirements to work shifts based on the Business needs (morning, afternoon & nights) so candidates need to be flexible. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for physically handling bearings and inspecting for defaults; including chips or oil stains Responsible for separating bearings into 2 containers, “good bearings” which are suitable for use, or “scrap” if they are deemed poor quality Maintaining physical diary of number of scrap bearings for quality compliance Health & Safety awareness General housekeeping Regular contact with Group Leader, advising them of any patterns of defaults to improve quality standards The successful candidate will be required to attend an induction and complete a D&A Test.
