Business Development Executive
Pertemps has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Engineer / Business Development Executive to join an adhesives specialist located near Southampton. This position involves handling European clients and requires regular overseas travel.
Responsibilities:
1. Key account management within mainland Europe
2. Maintain strong relationships with key distributors, conduct joint visits, training sessions, answer enquiries, and provide quotations and samples
3. Generate and follow up on business leads
4. Visit clients across Europe, support product trials, troubleshooting
5. Use CRM to record leads, visit reports, sample logging, and follow-ups
6. Track sales targets and investigate variances
7. Support new product launches and promotional activities
8. Liaise with technical team for support and training
9. Assist customer service with account-related queries such as payments, terms, and credit control
10. Attend trade shows and conferences
Requirements:
1. Proven account management experience
2. Exceptional customer service skills
3. Confidence in converting leads to sales
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
5. Full driving license and own vehicle
6. Willingness to travel overseas regularly
7. Additional language skills are a plus
Role Details:
* Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
* Negotiable salary
