A high volume manufacturer in Trafford park are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to minimise plant downtime, assist with projects and implement PPM/ Continuous improvement across their brand new, state of the art facility.
Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive repairs to a variety equipment and mechanical systems
Carry out planned Maintenance activities.
Minimising downtime and contributing to the achievement of production targets
Supervision of outside contractors/service engineers and tradesmen as required
Management of small projects such as equipment installation or staff training
To develop and implement process improvements
Electrical fault finding/ repair on sensors, motors, panels, drives etc...
About You
Time served Mechanical Engineer from a high volume, continuous production environment.
You will ideally have an electrical qualification and fault-finding experience however this isn't essential.
As the Mechanical Engineer you will be happy to work on your own or part of a team. This is a great opportunity to put your own stamp on the department and lead from the front.
