Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced teacher of Computer Science for a mainstream secondary school based within the Bolton area.
The role will involve teaching Computer Science, predominantly at KS3 with some KS4 as well. The position will include planing and marking responsibilities.
The position is due to begin on 20th April 2026 and will continue on a full-time basis, 5 days per week until the end of the academic year, with the potential to extend.
Key Requirements:
* Ability to teach Computer Science at KS3, with some KS4.
* A passion for the subject
* Deliver pupil progress
* Ability to raise standards throughout
* Create and deliver diverse and engaging lessons
* Excellent communication skills
* Good behaviour management strategies
* Hold right to work in the UK
* Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
* Hold PGCE with QTS or equivalent
