An internationally recognised architecture studio is seeking a Project Architect to join their team and lead the design and delivery of cultural projects across the Middle East. Thisrole is ideal for an architect with strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and experience managing projects tailored to regional context—from museums and arts centres to heritage reinvention schemes.
Responsibilities
* Oversee end-to-end delivery of cultural architecture projects in the Middle East, from design development through construction
* Coordinate closely with design directors, local teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure design integrity, technical rigour, and timely delivery
* Prepare and review detailed documentation: construction drawings, models, technical specifications, and procurement schedules
* Advise on design adaptation for context—climate, materials, cultural authenticity, and sustainability strategies informed by regional heritage
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and cultural brief
* Conduct regular site visits (regionally and occasionally overseas) and manage construction phase queries
* Mentor junior staff, sharing best practice in project coordination, technical detailing, and client communication
About You
* ARB or equivalent registered Architect with 3–5 years post qualification experience
* Proven track record delivering cultural buildings (e.g. museums, cultural centres) in the Middle East or similar climates
* Excellent technical coordination skills, with proficiency in Revit and strong understanding of BIM workflows
* Strong understanding of context-driven design—climate-responsive strategies like shading, passive cooling, and daylight modulation
* Confident communicator accustomed to liaising with international project teams, local authorities, and diverse stakeholders
