We are looking for experienced Class 1 shunter drivers to support a busy logistics operation in Stafford. This is an ad‑hoc role offering flexibility, consistent shifts, and a professional working environment.
Role Responsibilities
1. Yard shunting using Class 1 vehicles
2. Moving trailers between loading bays, parking areas, and holding yards
3. Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams
4. Following all yard safety procedures
PAYE Pay Rates
5. Days: £16.00 p/h
6. Nights: £17.00 p/h
7. Saturday Days: £20.00 p/h
8. Saturday Nights: £21.00 p/h
9. Sunday / Bank Holiday Days: £22.00 p/h
10. Sunday / Bank Holiday Nights: £24.00 p/h
Requirements
11. Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
12. CPC & Digi Tacho
13. Previous shunting / yard experience
14. Strong communication & safety awareness
