Salaried GP - Newly Qualified - ARRS role
As part of the Additional RolesReimbursement Scheme, we are now
seeking aSalaried GP to join our network team on a 12-month Fixed
term contract, with potential for extension depending on national DES guidance for 2026 - 2027.
6 practice sessions a week across the 3 practices plus an extra 1.5 CPD session

The salaried GP will work across the three practices with
Blackpool Central PCN.
Main duties of the job
ClinicalResponsibilities:
Provide high-qualityconsultations, assessments, and treatment plans for registered patients,managing both acute and chronic health conditions.
Undertake telephone,face-to-face, and online consultations across the practices.
Issue prescriptions and followup on test results and referrals as required.
Provide continuity of care bymanaging a personal caseload when appropriate.
Participate in the managementof long-term conditions, health promotion, and disease prevention.
Work collaboratively with themultidisciplinary team, including clinical pharmacists, Mental HealthPractitioners, and social prescribers, to support holistic patient care.
Contribute to clinical audits,quality improvement initiatives, and population health management projects.
Support the delivery ofEnhanced Access services and national health initiatives.
Maintain accurate medicalrecords following GMC and practice protocols.
Participate in team meetings,clinical supervision, and CPD activities to ensure continuous professionaldevelopment.
Work with other healthcareproviders, including secondary care and community teams, to coordinate care andensure seamless patient pathways.
Home visits.

Person Specification
Experience
* Not previously been substantively employed at a GP practice.
* Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care and working within a multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to manage clinical workload across multiple settings.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Awareness of safeguarding policies and clinical governance requirements.
* UK driving licence
* Eligible to work in the UK.
* Full registration with the General Medical Council with a license to practice.
* Inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Familiarity with EMIS.
* Experience of medicines management.
Qualifications
* Newly qualifies General Practitioner - with under 2 years from qualification
* MRCGP
* General Practitioner Certificate of Completion of Training
