Responsibilities
* Supervise pupils during lunch, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times.
* Promote a calm, inclusive environment that encourages respectful play and social interaction.
* Support the setup and clearing of dining and outdoor areas.
* Manage behaviour in line with school policies, addressing issues promptly and fairly.
* Assist with minor first aid and report any incidents or concerns to relevant staff.
Qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with pupils and staff.
* Experience in managing behaviour positively and consistently in line with school policies.
* Caring, proactive approach to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing with up‑to‑date training.
* Teamwork skills with the confidence to work independently when required.
* Basic first aid awareness or willingness to train; good organisation; general education (e.g. GCSEs or equivalent); prior school‑based experience desirable.
