NHS Lothian is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to join the Mental Health Transformation Programme, with a specific focus on delivering key transformation workstreams within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), including the regional Melville Inpatient Unit redesign.
This is a pivotal role at the heart of NHS Lothian’s efforts to deliver long-term redesign of improvements for inpatient and community mental health care for children and young people. The postholder will lead complex change programmes in partnership with senior operational managers, clinical leads and regional planning groups.
Key Workstreams Will Include
* Delivery coordination for regional inpatient redesign
* Support for CAMHS recovery and performance improvement
* Providing strategic support to the CAMHS leadership team
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering transformation in complex systems—ideally within healthcare or children’s services. Exceptional project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills are essential, as is confidence working with data, governance processes, and competing operational demands.
This post is offered on a fixed-term or secondment basis for 18 months. NHS applicants are encouraged to discuss secondment options with their line manager prior to applying.
