We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Operations Supervisor.
Working hours: 40 per week. Shift pattern: 13:30 - 22:00. Salary: £34,464.96 per annum. Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm – 10pm, and 10pm – 6am.
What You Will Be Doing
* Supervising a team of operatives and drivers
* Ensuring all team members are motivated and treated fairly and consistently
* Planning and taking action to achieve service level targets
* Educating your team on business goals and service objectives
* Ensuring your team follows safe, secure and operationally compliant working practices during the shift
What You Bring With You
* Experience in managing a shift and team in a busy freight processing environment is desirable
* Ability to manage own and team time effectively with attention to detail
* Be energetic and enthusiastic
* Have a strong customer focus
* Have good communication skills
