On offer is a fully funded, industry accredited training programme which offers you an excellent specialist training in managing behaviours such as Trauma, Sexual Exploitation and Attachment Disorders on top of a Diploma Level 3 Residential Childcare. This role offers clear progression pathways from Support Worker into Managerial roles.
Please note, this role will include working weekends, sleep overs, morning, and evenings so flexibility is required.

Responsibilities of the Therapeutic Support Worker:
8. Experience working as a Support Worker in a similar setting (including SEN or PRU schools, youth work, youth offending, children's social care - desirable as full training given)
9. Ensuring to help the children with their emotional, physical and developmental needs.
10. Display yourself as an appropriate role model
11. Demonstrate a positive attitude, empathy and resilience
12. Encourage positive life experiences for the children
13. Strong experience building report
14. Strong experience working in a team environment
15. Ability to communicate in a positive and open manner
16. Committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of others
