We’re currently on the lookout for dedicated and enthusiastic Elves to support Santa in delivering our best Christmas yet. Webbs is an award-winning garden centre retailer with four stores and a growing ecommerce business. Our stores are premium garden centres with exceptional indoor and outdoor horticulture departments, a range of quality gifts, homeware, furniture and clothing. Our high quality restaurants offer freshly prepared, seasonally changing menus.

We provide a legendary Christmas experience where we run a wonderful and authentic grotto, which will be as magical as ever this year. We even make the snow!
Our Grotto runs November and December offering an authentic grotto experience including the all-important one to one meeting with Santa. Our elves are key in feeding information to Santa and helping him keep a steady hand on the reins! We have no script, we improvise with cheer and positivity, and help children and their grown-ups to enjoy their visit.
Responsibilities
* You\'ll be great with children; ideally having some experience of working with them.
* You\'ll be friendly and outgoing with a smiley disposition. Acting or entertainment skills would be advantageous, and it goes without saying that you\'ll love all things Christmas and enjoy spreading lots of festive cheer to our guests.
* Kids can be creative little things, so you\'ll need to think on your feet, stay in character, fuel up to keep yourself warm for duration.
* If you have a love for Christmas, are a welcoming and jolly character and have a desire to put the ‘Elf’ in Selfie, we’d love to hear from you.
* This is a zero hours role with various shifts available; usually 4 hours but 8 hour shifts can be provided on request.
Qualifications
* Experience with children or in roles involving interaction with families preferred.
* Friendly, outgoing personality; cheerful and positive attitude.
* Interest in acting or entertainment is advantageous.
Compensation and Hours
Salary: £7.55 to £12.21 per hour. This is a zero-hours role with various shifts available (usually 4 hours; 8-hour shifts on request).
