About The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a National Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Manager at Sunbelt Rentals UK. You’ll be responsible for the support the development of our Environment, Health and Safety culture in the Power Team.
This is a national role so a full driving licence will be required to apply.

Key Responsibilities;
1. Support and asses your region, ensuring we remain legally compliant
2. Encourage continual improvement by proactive support as well as thorough investigation following accidents and incidents
3. Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and customers offering proactive support and guidance
4. Give guidance and support to the business in maintaining external accreditations
5. Lead and report on scheduled internal and external customer audits and observational reports
6. Undertake Fire Risk Assessments, Asbestos Surveys & Tank/Oil Storage Surveys

You will be comfortable working under pressure to tight deadlines whilst still maintaining a professional and approachable manner. You will effectively represent the business to customers and external federations in all situations and comfortably work as part of a wider team.
The Ideal candidate will have the following;
7. A relevant Health and Safety qualification; NVQ 4 or equivalent
8. Experience in compliance on electrical installations
9. Hold membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health
10. A good understanding of SHEQ management systems and improvement processes
11. The ability to communicate at all levels including presentations to senior management
12. Excellent IT skills including all Microsoft products
13. A full driving licence
