Responsibilities:

* Configure and support ERP systems, including customizing workflows and resolving user issues.
* Collaborate with Business Analysts to identify and automate business processes.
* Develop backend solutions using SQL, Oracle, and Crystal Reports to support business needs.
* Create and maintain technical documentation and reusable ERP components.
* Apply agile and continuous improvement practices to enhance system performance and user experience.

Desirable skills:

* Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially under pressure.
* Technical proficiency in SQL, Power Automate, Power Apps, and ERP systems.
* Analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Familiarity with coding languages such as .NET, Python, JavaScript, or C# is a plus.
* Proactive and hands-on with a “can-do” attitude.
* Resilient and methodical when facing challenges.
* Enthusiastic about learning and taking on new challenges.
* Professional and credible in interactions with stakeholders.
* Team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
* Demonstrable experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps).
* Experience with SQL (Microsoft and Oracle), data lakes, and data warehouses.
* Knowledge of additional coding languages is preferred but not essential.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Aptitude for logical thinking and structured problem-solving.

Entry requirements:

A Level 3 qualification in a relevant area in any grade.

Acceptable qualifications include, any of:

* Two A levels in one or more similar subject.*
* Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject.
* International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in a similar subject.
* BTEC Extended Diploma in a similar subject.
* Experience with programming languages (such as Python)
* OR equivalent work experience:
* 2-3 years in a similar subject-related role.

*'Similar subject' relates to areas directly relevant to or commensurate with 'Digital and Technology Solutions'. Typically this would be areas such as but not limited to Level 3 digital apprenticeships, A-Level/BTEC Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Software Engineering, etc.

Please note: Learners must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:

37.5 hours per week, 9am – 5pm with 45 minute lunch break.
