About the Role
Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Yeovil, who are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

Main Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stage 2
* Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with the national curriculum
* Create a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and confidence
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
* Carry out standard teaching duties such as marking, assessment, and participation in school activities

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
✅ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)
✅ Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2
✅ Demonstrates enthusiasm, creativity, and strong classroom management
✅ Can plan and deliver lessons that support progress for all learners
✅ Works effectively as part of a team and is committed to pupil wellbeing and achievement

Safeguarding & Compliance
All educators working with Teaching Personnel will be fully vetted prior to placement. This includes:
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
* Completion of mandatory safeguarding training
* An informal interview with classroom-based questions to assess suitability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
