Salary: £30,320 per annum As Warehouse Supervisor you will manage a team of 7 operatives across pick, pack, dispatch, and goods-in functions, utilising handheld scanners. The role involves working a three-shift rota: - Week 1: 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday - Week 2: 10am-7pm, Monday to Friday - Week 3: 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday Key Responsibilities Team Supervision: Lead and motivate the warehouse team, ensuring high performance and morale. Operational Efficiency: Oversee key warehouse functions, from goods received to dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment. Training and Development: Train new staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety compliance. Resource Allocation: Ensure adequate resources are allocated to meet business needs, including goods-in, goods-out, and systems. Quality Control: Check deliveries against delivery notes, report discrepancies, and ensure standards of driver safety and equipment functionality. Customer Service: Collaborate with the Customer Service team to address queries and facilitate customer collections. Security and Safety: Adhere to agreed security measures and maintain high standards of health and safety. Skills and Experience Proven experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Team Leader role Leadership: Strong people management skills with the ability to build rapport and motivate a team. Communication: Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and key stakeholders.
