Job Title: Neuro Occupational Therapist Band: 6 Location: Bury, Lancashire Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Band 6 Neuro Occupational Therapist to join our client’s specialist neurological service in Bury, Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated therapist with a passion for neurorehabilitation to work within a supportive and forward-thinking multidisciplinary team. This position is available on a locum basis with an immediate start and offers competitive rates. What will your responsibilities be? As a Neuro Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for independently managing a caseload of patients with complex neurological conditions, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that includes physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, neuropsychologists, and medical and nursing staff. You will carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify individual needs and deliver tailored interventions, both one-on-one and in group settings. Your role will involve coordinating and overseeing treatment plans, facilitating therapeutic groups, composing detailed reports, and actively participating in multidisciplinary meetings. You will also supervise therapy assistants where appropriate, maintain effective communication with patients, families, and external professionals, and ensure all clinical practice aligns with organisational policies, statutory regulations, and quality standards.
