Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Hoyland
Pay Rate: £83 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Hoyland. As a TA, you will support teachers in delivering lessons, provide assistance to pupils, and help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
* Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
* Assist pupils with learning tasks, both individually and in small groups.
* Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
* Support classroom organisation, including preparation of resources.
* Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour to teaching staff.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to support pupils with varying needs.
* A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with gaps explained.
