Our client, a well-established construction company based in Altrincham, is currently seeking an experienced Office Manager / Administrator to join their team. This is a key role supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy construction office.
The Role
Working from the office in South Manchester, you will be responsible for providing efficient administrative and office management support. You will act as a first point of contact for clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring professional communication and smooth office operations at all times.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing general office administration and day-to-day office activities
2. Handling incoming calls and emails with a confident and professional telephone manner
3. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
4. Supporting management and site teams with administrative duties
5. Maintaining accurate records, documentation, and filing systems
6. Providing high levels of customer service in a fast-paced construction environment
Candidate Requirements
7. Minimum 3 years' experience in administration and/or customer service
8. Previous experience working within a construction company is essential
9. Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
10. Excellent telephone manner
11. Highly organised with good attention to detail
12. Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently
