The Opportunity A highly organised and detail-focused Income Officer is required to join a busy finance and payments function. This role plays a key part in processing income, maintaining financial accuracy, and supporting payment operations across multiple systems and departments. If you have experience in payment processing, reconciliation, and customer service in a financial settingthis could be an ideal opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and authorise all forms of income including cash, BACS, Direct Debits, and card payments
* Reconcile daily income to the financial system and maintain accurate records
* Investigate payment queries and liaise with banks and third-party systems as needed
* Manage suspense accounts, process refunds, and ensure timely data transfer to finance systems
* Support the cash office function and provide systems advice across service areas
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to maintain compliance and financial integrity
