For a confidential chat, reach out todanny.colbert@arrowxl.co.uk— or apply today!What will the role involve?Project Coordination & SupportAssist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and tracking warehouse projects and initiatives.Maintain project documentation, including timelines, action logs, meeting minutes, and progress reports.Coordinate communication between operations, logistics, inventory teams, and external partners.Follow up with stakeholders to ensure tasks and milestones are completed on schedule.Operations SupportSupport the implementation of operational changes such as layout redesigns, process improvements, and new equipment installation.Gather data from teams to support decision-making (e.g., productivity reporting, inventory accuracy, workflow analysis).Monitor ongoing project impact and support post implementation reviews.Administrative & ReportingPrepare weekly project status updates for management.Track and report project-related expenses, purchases, and resource allocation.Assist with creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training documents, and workflow guides.Process ImprovementCollaborate with operational teams to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.Support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, lean practices, and KPI optimisation.Help ensure compliance with safety standards and operational guidelines during project rollout.Stakeholder EngagementAct as a point of contact for team queries related to ongoing projects.Engage & facilitate meetings, briefings, and training sessions when required.Build strong working relationships with all colleagues the operation and supporting functions.What are we looking for?Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.Strong organisational and multitasking skills.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and/or warehouse management systems.Ability to work collaboratively and support multiple projects at once.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Desirable:Previous project coordination or support experience.Exposure to Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.Experience working with KPIs and reporting tools.Understanding of health & safety compliance in warehouse operations.What's in it for you?
