We are looking for an Inside Sales Team Lead to join us We're based in sunny Brighton (sea, chips, and seagulls included), and our company embraces a hybrid working model. You'll have the opportunity to work remotely while also connecting with your colleagues at our Brighton office at least once or twice per week, fostering a dynamic and supportive environment.
You'll be working on re-inventing insurance in exciting markets across the UK, US, and the Netherlands. Supported by (and reporting to) Inside Sales Manager or COO, you'll be joining a friendly team of 7 Sales Associates who believe in delivering effective people management to drive motivation and targets within a regulated environment.
What You'll Do
As an Inside Sales Team Lead, you will provide maternity cover with a priority on delivering effective people management for our Inbound and Outbound functions. You will own the team's processes, reporting, and compliance to ensure we continue to hit our business contribution targets.
You'll Be Working On
People Management: Leading 7 sales associates through weekly 1-2-1s, team meetings, and active coaching.
Sales Excellence: Acting as a coach on consultative sales approaches and training team members for continuous personal development.
Operational Oversight: Owning the team's pipeline, lead allocation, and monitoring compliance through quality assurance call audits.
Performance Reporting: Monitoring team targets and reporting to senior management to ensure alignment with forecasts.
Strategic Collaboration: Managing the commission scheme and collaborating with Marketing and CRM on top-of-funnel initiatives.

Essentials To Thrive In The Role
Sales Coaching & Results: Proven ability to drive results and coach sales teams from a comparable role.
Exceptional Communication: Strong group communicator who can create clarity and deliver updates or changes effectively.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with sales ops tools such as HubSpot (or similar), call systems, and Excel.
Empathetic Leadership: A focus on active listening and creating psychological safety for your team members.
Management Experience: Experience managing a team of at least 5 people to targets, including hiring, onboarding, and managing performance.
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart
Regulated Environment Experience: Previous experience working within a regulated sales environment.
Background in High-Volume Sales: Personal experience as an SDR, BDR, or Sales Associate prior to moving into management.

What To Expect From The Process
Screen & Intro: 30-minute video call with the Talent Team.
First Interview: 60-minute video call with the hiring manager and people team to delve into the role and assess team fit.
Case Study: A brief take-home task followed by a 60 minute interview in person to review the task and assess team fit.
Follow up: A brief video call with one of the executive team.
What We Offer
Our budget for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 + 8k-12k commission, earnings will take into account your previous experience and location. We are open to full-time or part-time arrangements (minimum 3 days per week).
