We're looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Strategic People Partner to join our People team. This is a high-impact role where you'll partner with senior leaders across our Logistics network to drive strategic people initiatives, support organisational transformation, and enable a high-performance culture. This role will be working closely with our trade union, so we are specifically looking for someone with previous experience in industrial relations in a logistics environment. This is a hybrid role with travel to our logistics sites nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of the industrial relations strategy and plan, ensuring alignment with Asda's broader business strategy and people plan.
- Work closely and collaboratively with our trade union.
- Partner with the senior leadership team to deliver our priorities, evolving culture and capability.
- Champion a culture of inclusion, engagement, and continuous improvement across our logistics network.
- Work closely with the Logistics & Supply Partnering team to deliver our collective outcomes.
- Collaborate with Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and People Services to deliver seamless people solutions.
- Use data and insights to influence decision-making and drive measurable outcomes.
- Navigate complex ER cases and support leaders through change and transformation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a strategic HR or People Partnering role, within a logistics environment.
- Proven experience working closely and collaboratively with trade unions.
- Strong ER knowledge.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate business strategy into people priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Comfortable working with data and using insights to inform decisions.
- Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience preferred.

Working Conditions
This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days per week in one of our Home Offices. Additional travel to logistics sites nationwide may be required, as well as visits to suppliers, stores or depots.
