Staffing Match, one of the fastest growing recruitment agencies within UK, have an excellent opportunity available for HGV Drivers working for our client, one of the largest airline freight collecting company in UK. The position is collecting freight from Heathrow Cargo Terminals and brought back to depot. NO MULTI-DROP!
Your responsibilities as an HGV 2 Driver:
* Safely completing freight collections.
* Obliging to Airside Regulations, to UK Road Laws and Regulations as well as Working Time Regulations
* Make sure all seals are intact and checked
* Complete daily vehicle checks and inspect vehicles in the yard
* Be able to work alone or in a team
* Load a few lose boxes within the lorry - No Heavy Lifting!
About the HGV 2 DRIVER within you:
* You must hold HGV C Category or above with no more than 6 points
* Must hold a valid CPC Card and Digi Card
* Good understanding of English, written and verbal
* Reliable with a desire to succeed.
* Flexibility is key!
* Excellent work ethic

Staffing Match Security Checks:
In line with CAA regulations, you will be required to undergo the following prior to commencing work:
* Basic UK criminal record check
* An overseas criminal record check will be required for any period of over 6 months in countries outside the UK
* Full 5-year history*
* 5-year address history
* If the role requires airside access additional checks and security interviews will be conducted
*Staffing Match will obtain all references, you do NOT need to have been working for the whole 5 years, it can also include unemployment / travelling / education periods etc we just need proof of what you have been doing for the last 5 years and addresses that you have been living at.
