About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the ICU, you will provide specialised care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment. You will be responsible for comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualised care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.You will play a key role in patient recovery, advocate for patient and whānau needs, and use advanced clinical skills to respond to rapidly changing conditions.

Our ICU/HDU team at Te Matau a Māui Hawke’s Bay provides critical care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention, supported by a highly experienced and collaborative group of professionals..

About you
As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will bring:• Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand• At least 5 years ICU New Zealand experience• Advanced skills in managing ventilated patients and critical care interventions• Current level 4 Expert nursing portfolio in ICU• A commitment to culturally safe practice and ongoing professional development
