Business Development Executive

The Role:

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to join a global leader in creating custom awards and recognition products. Founded in 1957, the company has built a stellar reputation for celebrating achievements with bespoke offerings for investment banks, private equity firms, and other financial institutions. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in prospecting new business, managing and growing existing accounts and picking up on client inquiries.

You will be responsible for identifying key decision-makers and generating business opportunities through tools such as LinkedIn and industry news. Your efforts will focus on generating leads, qualifying inbound client requests, and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients. This is a hybrid position, offering flexibility to manage your own schedule with one day a week set for team collaboration in the office. Travel within Europe is another benefit of this role, making yearly visits to Amsterdam, Frankfurt & Paris.

Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Executive:

* Looking for growth opportunities within an existing book of accounts within financial services

* Prospect and generate new business opportunities with financial institution key accounts.

* Qualify inbound leads and uncover opportunities for growth.

* Manage and develop contact lists for targeted outreach and new accounts.

* Provide exceptional customer service by handling inbound inquiries and maintaining relationships.

* Collaborate with the team to support and cover accounts for the sales team.

Requirements for the role:

* At least 1 year of experience in B2B or B2C sales.

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

* Strong analytical skills.

The Package for Business Development Executive:

* Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 base + £8,000 OTE

* Hybrid working model with one office day per week.
