Introduction to Role

Our ambition is to deliver life‑changing medicines that achieve clinical remission in immune‑mediated diseases. Building on the launch of biologic medicine for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), we are expanding into additional indications through a robust lifecycle management (LCM) program. This role within the Global Immunology team will lead development and commercialization for select new indications, bringing differentiated value to new customer groups and ensuring short‑term launch success while maximizing long‑term brand value.

Accountabilities

* Lead and develop the global commercial strategy for select new indications, aligned to franchise priorities and brand positioning, with ownership of detailed pre‑launch planning and critical path management starting at least T‑24 months pre‑launch.
* Direct integrated insights and analytics (with GIBEX and regional partners) to deeply understand market dynamics, patient journeys, unmet need, behavior, and barriers in target indications.
* Continuously monitor the competitive landscape for target indications; identify opportunities and risks; and adapt strategy and resourcing to achieve ambitious launch and growth objectives.
* Orchestrate cross‑functional collaboration across Medical Affairs, Pricing & Market Access, Market Development, Regulatory, R&D, and Advocacy to secure timely delivery of evidence, access, and promotional readiness aligned to launch objectives.
* Define and deliver commercialization content tailored to new customer groups while maintaining coherence with the overarching brand strategy and scientific platform.
* Own indication budgets; ensure cost‑effective investments and prioritization to maximize impact under resource constraints; track performance and course‑correct.

Essential Skills/Experience (Must‑Have)

* Deep immunology expertise is required, with hands‑on experience in launch commercialization of monoclonal antibody or other targeted advanced therapies in at least one of: Rheumatology (eg: RA, SpA, SLE), Dermatology (eg: PsO, AD, HS) or Gastroenterology (eg: Crohn’s, UC); candidates without substantial immunology experience will not be considered.
* Proven leadership of global launches, including ownership of T‑24 month pre‑launch planning, integrated go‑to‑market frameworks, and operational execution across multiple regions.
* Demonstrated experience in lifecycle management (LCM) of Phase 2 / 3 assets, including indication expansion strategies, evidence planning, label optimization, and post‑launch growth acceleration.
* Meaningful engagement with external scientific experts and professional societies, with a track record of advocacy development in new indications (e.g., data generation alignment, guideline influence, and KEE/HCP mobilization).
* Strong understanding of development and regulatory frameworks across key regions (USA, Europe, Japan, China) and a proven history of effective collaboration with R&D to align development pathways and regulatory strategy with commercial objectives.
* Robust fluency in P&L, forecasting, and the financial drivers of new indication launches (pricing, access, demand creation, and retention).
* Demonstrated ability to mobilize teams, energize stakeholders, and build momentum behind new indications, balancing scientific rigor with commercial pragmatism.
* 15+ years of pharmaceutical commercial experience, including global and local roles.
* Bachelor’s degree (business, marketing, or life sciences); advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior launch leadership for biologics or targeted immunology therapies
* Track record of success in complex access environments, including innovative contracting or value‑based approaches.

Key Competencies

* Strategic agility: Ability to translate science and market insight into differentiated positioning and scalable launch frameworks.
* Cross‑functional leadership: Skilled at aligning diverse stakeholders and driving accountable execution.
* Data‑driven decision making: Comfort with triangulating market research, real‑world data, and performance analytics to inform choices.
* Communication excellence: Clear, compelling narratives to influence senior leaders, affiliates, and external partners.
