Quality Technician Annual Salary: £28,000 Location: Redditch Job Type: Full-time Monday to FridayWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to support our clients food safety, legality, and product quality initiatives. This role involves routine assessments of equipment, product, and factory environment, working closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) and Production teams to ensure compliance with technical systems. Day-to-day of the role: Collect all samples for analysis as per scheduled requirements and accurately input data into required systems. Perform swabbing requirements in compliance with documented schedules. Conduct documented ingredient and packaging inspection checks, providing feedback to the Intake Compliance Controller. Ensure test packs are made to accurate weight and that all packaging tare weights are checked and updated. Confirm the accuracy of measuring equipment by performing calibration/verification checks, including liaising with external companies where required. Maintain up-to-date schedules of all equipment, ensuring equipment operates within tolerance and actioning any out of specification in a timely manner. Maintain and update Glass and Hard Plastic and start-up audit sheets and booklets.
