We are looking to appoint an exceptional Senior Water Civil Engineer to work on wastewater infrastructure projects within our experienced team in Leicester, Manchester, or London. At Pick Everard, the supply, management, and disposal of water are at the core of what we do. We are proud to have a vast pipeline of work for clients including Severn Trent Water, Thames Water, Yorkshire Water, and the Government of Jersey.
As part of our team, you will play a key role in delivering wastewater infrastructure projects, including flood alleviation, network pumping stations, CSO storage, and upgrades. You will receive valuable training, guidance, and opportunities for career development.
Your core responsibilities will include:
1. Producing technical designs, specifications, and reports for a variety of projects.
2. Supporting the appraisal and design of structures and solutions for pumping stations, sewerage, and water networks.
3. Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their development.
4. Representing the firm at client meetings and contributing to business growth.
5. Supporting project and team management with innovative, sustainable, and low-carbon solutions.
6. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
* A degree or equivalent in civil engineering.
* CEng with post-chartered experience or IEng with relevant experience in wastewater.
* Experience managing wastewater and/or water infrastructure schemes.
* Proficiency with industry design software.
* Excellent communication and report writing skills.
* Experience with different contract types and client liaison skills.
* Leadership skills to guide a sub-team focused on high-quality design delivery.
