AA Euro Group has been retained by its client to recruit Intermediate Planner to o Support the Senior Planners and Regional Planner with the planning and programming of design, procurement, and construction activities. This role involves contributing to programme and planning management during both the preconstruction and construction phases. Projects typically range in complexity and value, from minor upgrades to more substantial refurbishments and new builds, supporting both operational and infrastructure improvements across the estate. Responsibilities: Responsible for onsite planning and reporting for the delivery of projects under the Framework, reporting directly to the Senior Project Planner. Prepare external and internal progress reports for live projects. Support Design, Procurement, and Construction progress with appropriate evidence such as key trade KPIs, Tender Event Schedule updates, Design Deliverable Schedules, or MIDP progress updates. Demonstrate proficiency in baselining programmes and preparing rescheduled progress reports, including analysis of the Critical Path and near-Critical Float Paths. Where appropriate, prepare Planned vs. Actual production ‘S’ Curves to support communication of site progress. Clearly present pre-construction progress information in a professional and articulate manner. Prepare short-term lookahead programmes and clearly communicate upcoming targets to the production team. Act as the conscience of the delivery team by highlighting key upcoming milestone dates and encouraging proactive preparation to meet them. Regularly review programmes, outputs, and phasing in collaboration with the Senior Planner and/or site delivery team. Assist in developing KPI tracking schedules to manage programme submissions from subcontractors and maintain up-to-date project information. Proactively identify risks and propose potential mitigation strategies for discussion and agreement with the project team prior to implementation. Collate key programme output data for trades and benchmark information for the Divisional Senior Planning Manager and Senior Planner. Contribute to the development of baseline programmes covering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover—ensuring logical links and a clearly defined critical path. Assist in updating and impacting programmes to reflect changes and variations. Ensure that all planning decisions align with Sisk’s Health and Safety policies and procedures. Ensure all programme updates are NEC-compliant to achieve client acceptance. Support the development of construction methodologies and logistics plans in collaboration with the Senior Planner and/or site delivery teams to ensure safe and effective project delivery. Experience: Over 5 years of relevant experience (laboratory experience desirable). Strong technical knowledge of construction, including MEP systems and their commissioning. Proven experience working collaboratively within a team. Experience in planning and reporting on NEC or JCT projects. Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject (Microsoft Project desirable). Excellent IT skills, including familiarity with Bluebeam, Autodesk model viewers, and 4D Synchro (desirable). Qualifications: Professional Qualification Desirable (CIOB / ICE etc.) Relevant Degree or diploma Qualifications in Construction Eng. / Man. SMSTS Certificates / CSCS Skills Card appropriate to your level.
