We are looking for an organised and detail‑oriented Onboarding Officer to join a leading wealth management platform based in Blackpool and support the smooth onboarding of new clients in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and setting up new client accounts, ensuring accurate data input into the Avaloq system and that all procedural and compliance standards are met. You will play a key part in delivering a high‑quality client experience at the first point of contact with the firm.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and oversee new client accounts and ensure they are completed in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Input client data into the Avaloq system and quality‑check entries using the 4‑eye process.
* Run exception reports to identify and resolve data gaps or errors.
* Liaise with Front Office, Client Due Diligence, and other internal stakeholders to progress onboarding cases.
* Respond to queries from internal investment personnel via phone and email regarding the onboarding process.
* Manage scanning of account paperwork to Invu and maintain accurate documentation.
* Assist with data projects and contribute to improvements in onboarding procedures and processes.
* Complete any other tasks reasonably required within the remit of the role and as directed by management.
What You’ll Need
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
* Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort working with internal systems.
* Understanding of or willingness to quickly learn regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to client onboarding.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders.
