Honeycomb Jobs is working with a large Public Sector organisation, looking to recruit a temporary Business Support Team Lead, for 6 months with the possibility of further extension/ permanency. This post is full-time, with flexi-time & agile working available. The Client - The Public Sector organisation is situated in Belfast City Centre area. The Role: To be responsible for the overall efficient and effective day to day operations of the Business Support Unit, whilst also providing a wide range of secretariat and support arrangements to the wider team and Heads of Service. Duties will include but will not be limited to- To provide meeting secretariat services for committees, Partnerships and other external bodies; minute taking, diary management etc. To organise functions, conference bookings and travel arrangements as required. Prepare written reports and accompanying analyses to Heads of Service and Senior Leadership team. To research/ provide data for the Head of Business Service from both internal and external sources. To make recommendations for the improvement and streamlining of electronic data. The Person- This role is ideal for an individual that likes to work in a fast-paced environment where they can demonstrate their adaptability, creativity and responsiveness to changes to schedules etc. As part of a professional and supportive team you will be required to work independently as well as collaboratively with the wider administrative team. As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience: Essential- A minimum of 2 GCSE 'A' Levels or a certificate in Business/ Management or equivalent plus 1 years' relevant experience in an office-based environment or 3 years' relevant experience in an office-based environment. And- At least 6 months' experience in using Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
