About ARU Police Education

ARU partners with The Metropolitan Police and seven police forces in the Eastern Region to train future Police Officers. We deliver the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) and the Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP), developed by the College of Policing, at our training facilities and dedicated Police Education centre in London.

About The Role

We seek a Digital Learning Specialist to support, develop, and embed digital learning resources for Police Education programmes. Operating as a Learning Technology Specialist, you will support distance learning operations, teaching, and business processes to meet our objectives.

This position is located at our campuses in Chelmsford, Cambridge, or London. Candidates should have a degree or be part-qualified in a relevant field, with evidence of CPD relevant to this role, and experience in developing digital learning resources, preferably in Higher Education. Knowledge of how the PCER programmes benefit Police, Public Service, and Higher Education sectors is desirable.

Travel between police establishments and ARU campuses is required.

Salary range: £38,249 - £44,128
