Overview
We are seeking a skilled SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimising our online presence and improving search engine rankings through effective SEO strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and analytics tools, as well as proficiency in various web technologies. The SEO Specialist will collaborate with content creators and web developers to enhance website performance and user experience.
Duties
* Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for optimisation.
* Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility.
* Monitor and analyse website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant tools.
* Optimise website content, including metadata, headings, and images, ensuring alignment with best SEO practices.
* Collaborate with content management teams to create high-quality, SEO-friendly content that engages users.
* Manage social media channels to enhance brand visibility and drive traffic to the website.
* Utilise Google Tag Manager for tracking and measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
* Stay updated with the latest trends in SEO, search engine algorithms, and digital marketing strategies.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in SEO with a strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
* Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress for effective website management.
* Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and their role in SEO optimisation.
* Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager for performance tracking.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on insights.
* Excellent written communication skills to create compelling content that adheres to SEO guidelines.
* Knowledge of social media management principles and how they relate to SEO efforts is advantageous.
