Job Description
experienced Bench hand joiners required by a established bespoke joinery company, must be able to read setting out/cad dwgs, be experienced in working with 3 phase machines, small electric hand tools, be have experience working with laminates, veneered boards, hardwoods, solid surface materials, working as part of a team or or your own initiative, you must be able to achieve quality finishing, be accurate, contentious in the production of various joinery items including bars, backfitting's, door sets, reception counters, servery counters & other manufactured joinery works, we offer very good rates of pay for suitable candidates
Responsibilities
you will be responsible in the manufacture of individual or large pieces of bespoke joinery, from a cad dwgs or setting out, you will be issued with a cutting list, to which all the components may have been machined up or you will be expected to carry out some machining yourself, you will then assemble & put together including dressing down hardwood lipping's to a variety of top finishes, which may include forbo nairn lino, laminate, various veneers, cleaning & filing down laminates to counter fronts, tops & various other component's in a process to complete the manufacture of the particular joinery item.
Qualifications
you should be qualified as a joinery either through City & guilds or NVQ level 2 & 3 in shopfitting or carpentry & joinery
