Your new company is a contractor based in northern Greater Manchester with 20 years of industry-leading experience working on both minor and major schemes. They have developed an excellent reputation for retaining clients and winning new work, with a secure pipeline for the next decade. Their current sectors include MoJ, Commercial, Retail, Offices, Private Developments, and Public Sector schemes. The company maintains a friendly and supportive office environment, fostering healthy competition and supporting staff towards their individual goals, whether chartership or promotion.
Your new role
You will work as a Mechanical Engineer across various sectors, utilizing software such as AutoCAD and Revit to complete drawings and designs accurately and efficiently. Training and upskilling in design software will be provided. Your existing experience with design software will help you adapt quickly to the fast-paced nature of the business. Initially, client meetings may not be required, but as your career progresses, interaction with clients and stakeholders will increase.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have a minimum of 3 years of UK Mechanical Building Services experience within construction and the built environment. Attendance at the office in Bolton is required daily due to the fast-paced schemes, so the ability to travel to Bolton is essential.
For non-UK applicants, a minimum of 5 years remaining on your visa with full working rights is necessary.
