We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join a friendly and forward-thinking school, supporting pupils in Years 1 and 2 during this crucial stage of their learning journey.
This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys creating engaging, hands-on lessons and understands the importance of nurturing both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
Your role will include:
- Planning and delivering creative, high-quality lessons across English, Maths, and the wider curriculum
- Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development
- Creating a classroom environment that encourages independence, curiosity, and confidence
- Assessing pupil progress and providing meaningful feedback
- Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Working closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure every child thrives
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- Is enthusiastic, approachable, and adaptable
- Is passionate about inclusive, child-centred learning
