Salary: £12.90–£15 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
About The Role
Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming early years setting in Southend. The successful candidate will support the development and learning of children aged 0–5 years, assisting in the delivery of high-quality care and education. Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
* Support children's social and emotional development, fostering positive relationships.
* Help maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on children's progress.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals who:
* Have experience working in an Early Years setting.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with young children.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
