Teachers Aide required to start September 2025 Working 4 days per week 8:50am to 2:50 (1 hour for lunch) Teacher’s Aide (20 hours per week) Looking for an organised and proactive Teacher’s Aide to support the Science Department and Sixth Form Team. Your main role will be to assist with lesson preparation, classroom setup, Helping students in class and general admin. (Science and Chemistry background highly desirable) Key Responsibilities: * Support the lead teacher with daily teaching needs * Print and organise lesson materials ahead of time * Access and manage resources via SharePoint 365 * Update staff planners with class codes, lesson titles, and resource status * Book Chromebooks, classrooms, and science practicals using school systems * Input student assessment data into department spreadsheets (Excel via SharePoint) * Help set up classrooms before each lesson (unlock doors, distribute books, hand out worksheets as and when needed) * Communicate with IT, Reprographics, and Premises teams as needed Skills Needed: * Confident using/Eager to learn how to use SharePoint, SIMS, LabLogger, and school booking systems * Good communication and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and follow structured routines * Proactive approach to tasks You must have an enhnaced DBS registered on the update service or happy to apply for one for this role...
