Working initially in the office, this role will eventually become hybrid with working pattern to suit the team and individual circumstances. The Role As Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Financial Controller and ensuring robust financial control, compliance, and reporting across two legal entities. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit monthly management and intercompany reports via the Group’s consolidated reporting system. Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger, including balance sheet, fixed assets, and internal recharges. Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and manage external audits. Ensure timely and accurate tax submissions and compliance reporting. Oversee ERP system maintenance and ensure alignment with Group and local standards. Manage leased vehicle records and insurance updates. Mentor and develop a team of three finance professionals. Collaborate on cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives. What You’ll Bring Qualified CCAB accountant with 5 years of financial/management accounting experience. Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and financial systems. Proficiency in Excel (Intermediate essential, Advanced desirable). A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills. Key Interfaces You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller, wider finance team, internal management, Group Finance, and external statutory bodies. Why Join?
